" I hope to inculcate responsible prescription writing through my work at The Capstone Clinic and improve patient awareness on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). "

Dr. Madhumitha’s extensive training in the field of Infectious Diseases has helped her achieve remarkable expertise in the areas of diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and management for a multitude of infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites. She believes that Infectious Disease physicians are in fact, the detectives of modern day medical care, as they can help in providing solutions to multitude of patients’ symptoms.

She strongly feels that responsible doctors and improved awareness among patients are the need of the hour. Ethical medical practice with a focus on multispeciality family care delivered by caring doctors is what ignites her passion, and this is why the mission and vision of The Capstone Clinic touch a chord in her.

With escalating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and very poor antibiotic prescription habits, education for both doctors and patients is essential about the right usage of antibiotics to tackle infections and save lives for our future generations. She hopes to achieve this at the The Capstone Clinic by providing the right medication in the form of judicious antibiotic prescriptions; proactive intervention through vaccination of adults, and propagation of infection control principles to ensure health and happiness.

Currently, she is actively involved with an NGO responsible for improving awareness on antibiotic usage, infection control and appropriate care of infections for doctors, nurses and public.
