With over 11 years of experience in the field of Cardiology, Dr Manokar has joined The Capstone Clinic as a Cardiology consultant. His area of specialization is interventional cardiology – coronary and structural. As interventional cardiology is non-surgical, Dr Manokar believes in constant innovation and to use minimally-invasive procedures to diagnose and treat heart problems, so that patients can lead a healthy life. The multi disciplinary set up at The Capstone Clinic and the quality of medical experts who can collaborate under a single roof are important aspects to addressing complete health of cardiology patients.

Dr Manokar has been a Fellow of American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, European Society of Cardiology, Asia-Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology and International Medical Sciences Academy. He is also a life member of Indian Medical Association Ambattur-Avadi Branch, Association of Physicians of India, Cardiological Society of India and Association of Physicians of India, Chennai Chapter. He has written publications for ‘A Rare Association of Cor Triatriatum Sinister with Congenitally Corrected Transposition of Great Arteries’ and ‘Overview of Alpha-blockers in Hypertension: Reappraisal of Perspectives’. He has done a couple of presentations for cone entrapment in endovascular aortic repair for aortic ulcer and balloon mitral valvotomy. His research includes being a co-investigator for in Multi-Sensor monitoring in congestive heart failure trial, Warfarin Vs Aspirin in patients with Reduced Cardiac Ejection Fraction,
